The Haitian Institute for Wellness, Inc
Is a nonprofit organization based in Boston, MA committed to the advancement of Haitians in the diaspora and in Haiti.
The institute provides educational, financial and social programing aimed at building capacity in local communities towards improving health, economic and educational outcomes.
The Haitian Institute for Wellness, Inc is a nonprofit organization based in Boston, MA committed to the advancement of Haitians in the diaspora and in Haiti. The institute provides educational, financial and social programing aimed at building capacity in local communities towards improving health, economic and educational outcomes.
The institute’s is governed by a steering committee headed by the Executive Director, Director of Finance and Secretary. In the United States, a staff of volunteer oversee the Institute’s work in the local communities. A national committee heads and oversees programing in the 10 Departments of Haiti, assisted by regional committee from host villages.

Programming is offered virtually and in-person as appropriate to the needs the community.
HIW currently operates in Massachusetts and Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Programming is offered virtually and in-person as appropriate to the needs the community. In Haiti the programs are located in Delmas. Two new host cities, Jeremie and Trou-du-Nord, have been identified for the year 2022.
